I had a parakeet that lived for 10 years that I purchased when I was in 4th grade! I have waited a long time to get another bird and I'm so excited he's here!
Update Summer 2005. The bird is an ass! Loves to bite. He is also quite fun. I do not recommend Quakers to novice bird owners unless this bird will be the sole focal point of their life! He is quite fun to listen to!!! He knows a lot of whistles I have taught him. Will say Figgy, Figjam, Figgy Fig, and Thank you.
Update early winter 2006. Well Figgy is not so much of an ass once the Sun Conour left.
